The 99% Takeover

Registration is closed for this event
On Tuesday, April 24th - immigrants, workers, students, clergy, tenants, homeowners and communities of color that have been devastated by Big Banks' bad practices are stopping the Wells Fargo Shareholders from having their same old Annual Meeting. Instead of them discussing how they are going to continue to profit off the devastation of communities of color, we will be holding a Peoples' Stakeholder meeting to share the stories of those of us most impacted by Wells Fargo's greedy, racist practices.

Wells Fargo shareholders, including CEO John Stumpf will be holding their annual shareholders' meeting and the communities that are most impacted by unlawful practices will be there to hold them accountable.

We demand that Wells Fargo do the following:

Stop Profittng from immigrant communities of color:
 - Divest from private prison corporation CCA and the Geo Group and end investment in anti-immigrant legislation!

Stop Profiting from the theft our our homes:
 - Stop all foreclosures now and commit to resetting homeowners mortgages to the current value of people's homes!

Stop Profiting from Illegal evictions:
 - Follow local, state and national laws to protect the rights that tenants have to stay in their homes after foreclosure and ensure that all real estate companies, servicers and contractors that you work with do the same!

Stop dodging your taxes:
 - Pay what you owe in local and federal taxes!

Stop laying off workers!

Please join us to make these demands directly to Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf, the Board of Directors and other shareholders in a mass sit in and rally at 12pm (sit in will start sooner.)
